Dr. Harry Paarsch has been on the forefront of this and most recently led efforts for Amazon. Data and analytics are providing business with many more tools to effectively plan and make better decisions at an accelerated rate. He will provide an introduction of empirical methods into science, describe why those methods cannot always be directly applied in business, and introduce some economic and use of the theory concerning incomplete information.
