Maintenance Technician
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Monitors buildings and grounds to ensure a neat and clean appearance and environment.*
- Reports to Supervisor any safety issues that may need immediate attention.*
- Assists in the preventative maintenance program for the building and its fixtures on a daily, weekly, monthly and as needed basis.*
- Assist in developing emergency action plans.
- Provides courteous guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints.*
- Attends all meetings as required.
- Follows established safety procedures, use of personal protective equipment and sharps policies.
- Provides assistance to other departments of the hotel to contribute to the smooth operation of the hotel.
- .Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to guests and associates.
- Complies with all hotel policies and procedures.*

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
