In support of supplier diversity\, she is responsible for developing relationships with local businesses to create an equitable purchasing environment by removing barriers to doing business with the university as well as an enhanced diverse business community outreach program. \n\nPrior to working for UCF\, Nido worked as the Director of Purchasing and Contracting for the School Board of Orange County. In this role she had oversight of the purchasing function for the 10th largest school district in the nation and the acquisition of goods and services which exceeded $300 million. While there\, Nido led the department to multiple state and national recognitions for excellence in purchasing\, including the Award for Excellence in Public Procurement by the Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials and the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement by the National Procurement Institute\, Inc.\n\nMs. Nido holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is an active member of the Central Florida Chapter of the National Institute of Government Purchasing and other industry organizations. \n\n\n\n\nThis group is NEW AND IMPROVED for 2015!
